TOROIDS
Types of Toroids available:
- Un-bonded.
- Bonded – cut or uncut.
- Gapped.
- With end caps.
- Epoxy powder coated.
- Other special requirements.
Toroids should be ordered by specifying outside (OD) and inside (ID) diameters, strip width (H), material thickness and electrical characteristics.
Bonding decreases magnetic properties, therefore it is recommended for cut toroids only.
For best performance the ratio of outside diameter to inside diameter should not exceed 1.5,due to the difference between outside and inside mean flux path length, hence flux density.
Toroid with different ratios can be supplied if required.
